What the inspector wrote

On 3/24/2026, Licensing Program Analyst(LPA) John Calandra arrived at the facility to conduct a Case Management visit in regards to complaint #14-AS-20260108165840 . LPA Calandra was greeted by Monica Mendoza Ceron, Senior Executive Director and explained the purpose of the visit. The Reporting Party alleged that the Licensee does not have personnel sufficient in numbers to provide care and supervision to persons in care. According to the Reporting Party, Licensee hired multiple Medical Technicians(Medtechs) to provide care and supervision in place of caregivers. According to the Administrator, Monica Mendoza Ceron, all staff are required to complete basic care and supervision training as everyone assists persons in care. In addition, the Administrator stated that she has hired one Licensed Vocational Nurse(LVN) and 2 new caregivers since the change in management took place. According to the Administrator, all of her Medtechs have been employees for more than 10 years and were caregivers before they became Medtechs per company policy. In addition, based on record review, Licensee has care staff employed for each shift. No deficiencies cited during today's visit. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report was provided to the facility representative.
