Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Steve Chang conducted an unannounced annual inspection, and met with Administrator (ADM) Daisy Estoesta . LPA observed 2 staff and 2 resident in the facility. LPA reviewed 2 resident files and 2 staff files. LPA observed licensee, Administrator Certificate, and personal rights posters at the main entrance. LPA toured the facility with ADM inside and out. LPA inspected living room, family room, garage, dinning area, kitchen. There are 3 restrooms, 1 staff live-in rooms, and 4 resident rooms in the facility. An office area in garage was observed. Two days perishable foods and seven day nonperishable foods were observed sufficient. Room temperature was observed at 73 degree F, hot water temperature was observed at 118 degree F. The temperature of the freezer was observed at 0 degree F and the temperature of the refrigerator was observed at 35 degree F. Medication cabinet, knives closet were observed locked. The cleaning products for washing dish cabinet was observed unlocked. ADM locked the cabinet immediately. The facility was equipped with fire alarm, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Carbon monoxide detector was tested, and was working. Fire extinguisher was serviced on 4/2/2025. First aid box, flash lights, and night nights were observed in the facility. The last time the facility conducted the fire drill was on 12/2/2025 and the earthquake drill was on 12/1/2025. Front yard and backyard were inspected. There was no obstruction to block the walkways. One storage room was observed at backyard. No citation noted for today's visit. Exit interview was conducted with ADM. This report was provided to ADM for signature. A copy of this report was provided to ADM.
