What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) David Marrufo conducted a Pre-licensing visit and met with Administrator Joyce Welch. During visit, LPA Marrufo toured the facility inside and out. LPA Marrufo toured the kitchen area, including the pantry room and the walk-in refrigerator and freezer areas. LPA toured the medication room and observed there to be locked cabinets and a medication cart for medications. LPA reviewed the first aid kit and found it to be complete. LPA toured the room used for storing staff and resident records. LPA toured the outside courtyard area and observed there to be seating and a gardening area. The outdoor exits were clear of obstructions. LPA toured the first through fourth floors. LPA observed storage rooms for cleaning supplies, laundry rooms, and emergency food storage. LPA toured the facility bathrooms on the first through fourth floors. Each bathroom had working lights and available soap and paper towels. The bathrooms in the facility apartments had showers with shower chairs. The water temperatures in the bathroom sinks measured from 105 F to 106 F. Facility documents indicate that all fire and life safety systems were inspected and found to be in compliance on 09/18/2025. LPA observed there to be a wall on the first floor with posters, including the theft and loss policy poster, licensing complaint poster, and resident personal rights. Pre-Licensing is complete and this facility has no deficiencies. During visit, LPA Marrufo reviewed the Component III presentation with Administrator Joyce Welch.
