Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) David Marrufo and Marcela Yanez conducted an unannounced Case Management visit and met with Administrator (ADM) Xi-Hua "Julia" Luo. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a health and wellness check on the facility residents. During visit, LPAs toured the facility with ADM. LPAs observed six out of six residents during visit. LPAs observed one resident with a catheter. ADM stated that she had not inserted or removed the resident's catheter. ADM stated staff only assist with emptying the catheter bag. ADM stated the resident's hospice nurse handles all the rest of the duties related to the catheter. During visit, LPAs toured the inside and outside of the facility. During visit, LPAs discussed with ADM about the importance of cooperating with the department and attending any required meetings, including Non-compliance conference meetings. ADM stated she is willing to cooperate with the department. No deficiencies were cited at this time as per California Code of Regulations Title 22. This report was reviewed with Administrator Xi-Hua "Julia" Luo and a copy of this report was provided.
