What the inspector wrote

On January 15, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ivan Avila arrived announced at the facility to conduct a Pre-licensing visit utilizing the inspection tool for a change of location (CHOL). LPA met Licensee Jeremy Potter and Administrator Tiffany Battle. There are no clients in care. LPA conducted an inspection of the care home to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations. LPA Avila and Licensee toured the interior and exterior of the facility. Areas toured included but not limited to: common areas, resident bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and backyard. There are three (3) bedrooms and two (2) bathrooms for residents’ use. Bathrooms were in sanitary condition and properly maintained. Hot water temperature is within the required range of 105-120 degrees. LPA checked the kitchen area for the ability to prepare and store food. LPA observed cleaning products and other toxins to be locked away. LPA observed the area used for medication to be locked and inaccessible to residents. LPA observed smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors at the care home to be operational. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit are maintained and ready for emergency use. LPA observed the facility to have the required postage on the wall. Component III was waived during today’s inspection as Licensee is currently Administrator certified and has existing facilities and today's inspection is for a change of location. Applicant satisfied all requirements in accordance with Title 22, California Code of Regulations on today's pre-licensing inspection. LPA will forward findings to the Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) for final review and approval. CAB will be notified accordingly of licensure. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to the facility.
