Pre-licensing visit·October 15, 2024

Licensing Program Analyst(LPA) Jill Nakagawa arrived to conduct a Pre-Licensing Inspection and was greeted by Applicant Arnel Silverio and Administrator John Francois Delos Reyes. Component III orientation was waived as Applicant and Administrator went through the Component III for Bright Future Care Home 1. LPA, Applicant and Administrator conducted a walk-through of the facility that has 5 bedrooms, a common area with dining room and kitchen. The facility will have 4 residents admitted once licensed. LPA observed the following: There was a supply of perishable and nonperishable food. There was a supply of water. Facility had a first aid kit. Each private resident room was furnished with all required items per regulation. Additional linens were available for use as needed. Bathroom had grab bars and non-slip flooring/mat for safety as needed. Hot water measured at 117.8 F which is between 105 and 120 F, per regulation. Facility has a backyard that includes a covered patio with seating for resident use. Facility has enough dishes and cookware to accommodate each resident. Sharps will be stored and locked in drawers in kitchen. Medications, resident and personnel files will be stored in locked cabinets in dining area. Toxins/cleaners are stored in locked laundry room. Garage area will be used as a staff break area. Facility has received a fire clearance approval from the local fire department dated 04/29/2024 . Fire extinguisher, one (1), was purchased and tagged, as required, 01/26/2024. All smoke alarms/ carbon monoxide detectors are part of a hard-wired system. Facility has a required infection control plan. Facility has an emergency disaster plan as required. LPA will forward a copy of the prelicensing report to the application Analyst; The application Analyst will notify the applicants of the status of their application. No deficiencies cited during inspection. A copy of this report provided.
