What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alviso conducted a pre-licensing inspection and met with Raymond Dichoso and Brent Hughes,applicants. Both Dichoso and Hughes have current RCFE administrator certificates. LPA will conduct component III orientation with both applicants, Raymond Dichoso and Brent Hughes during today's inspection. Facility has a fire clearance approval for a total of six(6) non-ambulatory residents.The smoke alarms are also carbon monoxide detectors, all were working during the inspection. Fire extinguishers, two (2), were both fully charged. Facility has an approved dementia plan of operation. The facility has an approved hospice waiver for six (6) residents. Applicants have an approved emergency disaster plan and infection control plan. All required postings were up and visible upon entry into the home. Hot water was measured at 117. degrees Fahrenheit, which is within regulation.. All exits were clear and unobstructed. The home had sufficient supply of non=perishable food items. Facility had sufficient furnishings in all rooms, sufficient lighting, sufficient supply of linens, and cleaners/disinfectants. There was a large cabinet for locking up medications to make them inaccessible. All cleaners/disinfectants were locked up and inaccessible. The home was at a comfortable temperature. The backyard had patio furnishings and shade for resident use. The fire gate opened free and clear as required. The front of the home has a large ramp for resident use. All walkways in the home and outside of the property were free and clear of obstructions. All bathrooms had grab bars, and non-skid flooring/mats for resident use. All utilities were on and working appropriately. The home was clean and orderly. Pre-Licensing is complete and this facility has no apparent health hazards and/or concerns observed during this inspection. The LPA will send a copy of the report to the Application Unit Analyst; The Application Unit Analyst will notify the applicant of the status of the application.
