Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) L. Xiong conducted the complaint investigation visit to the facility. During the course of this investigation LPA reviewed facility files and interview staff relevant to the complaint investigation. It was determined that the above allegations: Staff have not taken steps to prevent the spread of scabies, and Staff did not ensure residents scabies was treated properly are UNFOUNDED. The evidence from the investigation indicated the facility took necessary steps to prevent, treat and rule out the cause and spread of scabies. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging (Staff have not taken steps to prevent the spread of scabies, and Staff did not ensure residents scabies was treated properly). We have found that the complaint was unfounded, therefore we have dismissed the complaint.
