What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Esther Cortez conducted a Case Management - Deficiencies visit. The purpose of the visit is to issue citations for deficiencies observed during a case management incident visit not related to the incident. During the visit on 05/29/2025, the LPA observed surveillance cameras in common areas. The LPA inquired about video footage from 05/16/25. The Administrator allowed the LPA to observed several video clips from 05/16/25, the LPA observed that by selecting the speaker button all videos had audio. Upon observation, the Administrator stated that they were unaware the cameras had audio component. During the visit the Administrator disconnected the cameras. The following deficiencies were observed (See LIC 809-D.) and cited from the California Code of Regulations, Title 22. Failure to correct the deficiencies may result in civil penalties. Exit interview was conducted. A copy of the report and appeal rights were provided.
