What the inspector wrote

On 7/23/21 at 8:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cheng conducted an unannounced Case Management Health and Safety Check as directed by the department. LPA met with facility manager Maria Medrano and explained the reason for the visit. Prior to initiating the visit, LPA completed required COVID-19 testing protocols, and a daily self-screening questionnaire for symptoms of COVID-19 infection to affirm no COVID-19 related symptoms; contacted Administrator and completed a facility risk assessment. LPA ensured they applied hand sanitizer before entering the facility and the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was worn: surgical mask and gloves. LPA toured the facility inside and out including but not limited to facility hallway ways, bathrooms, living room, resident rooms, outside areas, dining room, and kitchen. On 7/23/21 at 9:30 AM, LPA was informed that the facility will be utilizing an alternative pest control company. Their first scheduled service is set for 7/27/2021. Administrator Susie Jumawan will keep LPA Cheng updated regarding all services and provide receipts along with a schedule of services via e-mail. No deficiencies observed. Exit interview conducted and a copy of report was given.
