What Happened
COVID-era required annual inspection with facility at full capacity (32 children, 5 staff). All safety infrastructure in place including fully fenced outdoor play area, properly charged fire extinguisher, and current staff CPR/First Aid training. Type B deficiency cited.
Observations
- Two classrooms in building B: B2 for 2-3 year olds, B7 for 4 year olds
- Fire extinguisher (size 2A-10BC) fully charged and accessible
- Outdoor play area fully fenced with padding under/around climbing equipment
- Play structures intact with no visual defects
- No meals/snacks served due to COVID-19; filtered water dispenser available for water bottle refills
- Fire and earthquake drills conducted every 6 months (last: 3/2021)
- Opener and closer have current CPR/First Aid training (expiring 02/28/2022)
- Staff fingerprint cleared with proof of immunizations
