What Happened
Unannounced annual inspection of two-building preschool serving 26 children with 4 staff. All safety systems (fire extinguishers, CO detectors, smoke detectors) meet State Fire Marshall standards. Staff CPR/First Aid certified and sign-in/out logs maintained.
Observations
- Two separate buildings (A and B) with classrooms for 2-year-olds (A6), 3-year-olds (A4), and pre-K (B1, B2, B7)
- Hazardous materials (disinfectants, cleaning solutions) stored inaccessible to children
- Separate toilets and sinks for boys and girls, all safe and operable
- Outdoor playground equipment safe with climbing equipment anchored and adequate fall cushioning
- Fire/disaster drills conducted every 6 months (last conducted 06/18/2025)
- Opening and closing staff have current CPR/First Aid training
- Drinking water available both indoors and outdoors
