What the inspector wrote

On 11/17/2025 at 9:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Case Management Inspection at Blueskies for Children - Hedco Infant/Toddler Center. LPA met with Director, Christa Edwards and explained the purpose of this visit. During today's visit, there were 29 infant children in care with 11 staff in 3 classrooms. Director stated there are 33 infant children enrolled. LPA is following up on an self reported Unusual Incident Report submitted to licensing on 08/08/2025. The incident was investigated by Investigator Walter Crockett. Investigator Crockett reviewed files, conducted interviews and obtained relevant documents. Per Investigator Crockett investigation, it was determined that while an incident did occur at the facility when C1 fell, the staff did not neglect C1 nor was there a lack of supervision. Based on Investigator Crockett's investigation, facility was in compliance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22 During today's inspection, there were no violations observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Executive Director, Christa Edwards. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
