Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 9 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Manel Estoesta conducted a subsequent complaint investigation visit. LPA met with the Director Marian Youssef and explained the nature of the visit. The findings were delivered on this visit. Present on this visit were 9 staff and 53 preschool children. The facility operates from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 6 pm. The LPA has investigated alleging that S1 hit C1 in the face that led to bruising under C1 left eye as per RP statement. During the investigation the LPA conducted a physical plant inspection, interviews with facility staff, and record review. Based on the staff interview and LPA observation, staff used techniques such as redirecting to minimize difficult situations. Based on record review, the small red mark/dot near on C1’s eye appears to be a self inflicted scratch. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted with the Director Marian Youssef .
