What the inspector wrote

On 3/9/26 at 10:00am, Licensing Regional Manager Loretta Dyson, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Wynn Norona, and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Briana Plumboy met with Renuka Hiremani, Kidango Regional Director, for an announced informal conference at the Community Care Licensing Oakland Regional Office. Also present for the informal conference was S1, S2, and S3 representing Kidango Inc. The informal conference was held to discuss staff interactions and according each child in care personal rights at the center. During the office visit, the representatives from Kidango Inc. informed CCLD staff they have increased the amount and training and support provided to staff and classroom specific at Kidango Decoto. Training has been provided to staff daily, weekly, and during all staff meetings yearly. The Regional Director was reminded each staff shall ensure that each child is accorded dignity in his/her personal relationships with staff and other persons; to be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs; to be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature including but not limited to: interference with functions of daily living including eating, sleeping or toileting; or withholding of shelter, clothing, medication or aids to physical functioning. Oakland Southeast Licensing Program Analyst Briana Plumboy referred Kidango Regional Director to the training videos which can be found on the Community Care Licensing website at ccld.childcarevideos.org as well as provided a handout for Technical Support Program (TSP). This report shall remain on file for 3 years. Exit interview conducted. Appeal rights provided.
