What Happened
Unannounced annual inspection found the home in ratio with generally safe conditions, but the inspector discovered an unsecured bottle of silver cleaner and found that infant safe sleep records were missing. The helper also lacked personnel records, and the daughter/helper needed their own mandated reporter certificates.
Observations
- A bottle of silver cleaner was found unsecured under the kitchen
- No infant safe sleep plan or sleep logs were maintained for infants under 12 months
- The helper did not have personnel records
- The daughter and helper had completed mandated reporter training together but did not have individual certificates
