What Happened

The annual inspection found the home generally safe and well maintained, but several recordkeeping and preparedness items were missing. Deficiencies were issued for missing children's file documents, absent disaster drill documentation, no infant sleep logs, and a technical violation for a basement access door on the patio.

Observations

  • Fire drill records were not present in the facility.
  • Children's files were missing for 4 of the 7 children in care.
  • Missing child file items included ID and emergency information, consent for emergency medical treatment, Parent's Rights receipt, immunization records, and acknowledgment of no liability insurance.
  • No sleep logs were available for infant children.
