What the inspector wrote

On 08/18/2023 at 9:00 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) A. Curry conducted an unannounced case management inspection to follow up regarding the lead testing at the facility. LPA met with the Director, Sharon Ou, to explain the purpose of today's inspection. The director stated the facility did not test the drinking water for lead contamination (See 809). The director was advised to review PIN 21-21.1-CCP for more information on lead testing of water for Child care Centers. Exit interview conducted, appeal rights were given, and report was reviewed with the director Sharon Ou.

    Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above ensuring each child's authorized representative signs the child in during drop off, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

    Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above ensuring all staff have required immunization records in file, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
