Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

LPA also viewed the Learning Center and observed the room was not kept clean and orderly. LPA reviewed photos of these areas with the licensee After the first visit on November 4, 2023 the licensee cleared up all the bankers boxes and other items in the kitchen area and emailed the LPA pictures to show the area had been cleaned up. During the January 4, 2023 visit, the LPA viewed the living room and child play room (Room 1) and noted they were clean and organized. The kitchen area had some minor clutter of items but were not considered hazardous. The Learning Center (Room 2) and hallway area was full of clutter and had stacks of items. Licensee explained that the Learning Center is not in use at this time and children are not allowed in there. The area will be cleaned up before the children are allowed back in. Licensee will place a child gate in the kitchen doorway to prevent children from having access to the hallway and Learning Center. Based on LPAs observations and interviews with the licensee, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation(s) is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. The facility has not been kept clean and orderly. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, Article 06: number 102417(b) , are being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D.”
