What the inspector wrote

On 5/13/25, LPA Plumboy met with licensee Adrienne Palasti for a complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. Present during the inspection was licensee, assistant Andrea DeLa Torre, 4 preschool age children in care, and 1 school age child. Based on interviews conducted, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted with licensee Adrienne Palasti. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain posted for a period of 30 days.

    PERSONAL RIGHTS

    (a) Each child receiving services from a family child care home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived or abridged by the licensee regardless of consent or authorization from the child's authorized representative. These rights include, but are not limited to, the following:(1) To be treated with dignity in his/her personal relationship with staff and other persons. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: a therapist was present at the facility who had more than one disagreement with the licensee in front of the children and resultied in one or more voices being raise which posed a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights to persons in care.
