What Happened
Annual inspection of family childcare home caring for 12 children (5 infants, 7 preschoolers). During inspection, licensee's husband was absent and roster was out of date. Five Type A deficiencies cited due to missing children's files, incomplete immunizations, missing infant sleep plans/logs, and no documented disaster drills.

- All toxins, cleaning products, medications, hazardous materials inaccessible
- Safety latches on accessible bathroom cabinets
- Gates on stairs
- No firearms or pets
- 3A40BC fire extinguisher (fully charged) in kitchen
- Push button fire alarm next to front door
- Working smoke detector in kitchen
- Working telephone
- All required forms posted
- At 12:00 PM: Licensee reported 11 children (4 infants)
- At 12:00 PM: Husband absent (getting milk)
