What Happened

Annual inspection of the home-based program was conducted with the licensee and granddaughter interpreting Cantonese. The home was clean and in ratio, but infant safe sleep documentation was incomplete, including one missing safe sleep plan and missing sleep logs for most infants.

Observations

  • Infant Safe Sleep Plan was missing for one 11-month-old child
  • Sleep logs were not maintained for 3 of the 4 infants in care
