On May 5, 2023 at approximately 08:15AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Lorraine Dacanay Breaux conducted an unannounced Complaint Investigation at Global Village Montessori. LPA met with Director Pragati Mathur and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. The allegation “day care sustained injury due to staff neglect”. It was determined that a child was injured at the facility on play equipment. However, based on Interviews with parent and staff it was determined that sufficient staff was on the playground during the incident. Director was advised about the Reporting Requirement Regulation. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Findings was delivered during the inspection. Exit interview conducted with Director Pragati Mathur. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. Appeal Rights provided.
