What the inspector wrote

On May 10, 2023 at 8:50am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Julia Placencia arrived unannounced to continued with the complaint investigation regarding the allegation above. LPA met with director Deepa Tarunkumar. Present today were 63 children and an additional 10 staff members. During the course of the investigation, LPA toured the facility, conducted interviews with staff and reviewed documents. It's been disclosed that a child in the Curious Twiga class had vomited on the floor and it was not cleaned up in a timely manner. Based on observations, interviews and record review, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be substantiated. California Code of Regulations, Title 22 is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Failure to submit Proof of Corrections (POC) by Plan of Correction date may result in additional civil penalties. Exit interview conducted with director Deepa Tarunkumar. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
