Pre-licensing visit·February 27, 2025

On Thursday, February 27,2025 Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Domantay met with Director Jodi Gladstone for the purpose of a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant requests for a single license facility and to add a Toddler Program to the existing Preschool license to serve 64 Preschool children from ages 2 years to first grade entry and 8 toddlers ages 18-36 months. The fire clearance was granted and approved on 1/7/2025 from the Berkeley Fire Department. LPA toured and inspected planned indoor or outdoor areas of the toddler program. Toddler indoor and outdoor areas are not fully set up to be measured or for final inspection. Per Director Jodi the toddler areas are planned to be set up in the next three weeks. LPA notified Director Jodi, LPA will conduct inspection once all indoor and outdoor toddlers areas are fully set up for inspection and toddler care. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Jodi Gladstone. The following items are required before a license will be issued: 1. Applicant must submit Parent Handbook with required revisions. 2. Applicant must submit Admissions Agreement with required revisions. 3. Toddler indoor and outdoor areas must be fully set up for inspection and toddler care. Page 1
