What the inspector wrote
On April 10, 2026, at 9:00AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Randy Miranda met with licensee Kranthi Chereddy for the purpose of conducting an unannounced annual inspection for compliance to health and safety. Living in the home is the licensee and her TB tested and fingerprint cleared spouse. Present for today’s inspection is the licensee, licensee’s spouse, licensee’s assistant, and 10 children in care (three infants and seven preschool-age children). The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Max. Cap (When there is an Assistant Present): 12 – No more than 4 infants. Cap 14 – No more than 3 infants. 1 Child in Kindergarten or Elementary School and 1 Child at least age 6. Total capacity: 14.
The facility is a single-story home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, family room (day care area), an attached two-car garage, and front, side, and back yards.
ON-LIMIT AREAS:
The living room; family room (day care area); the hallway bathroom; and the patio and backyard area.
OFF-LIMIT AREAS:
The kitchen (used for pass through only for access to day care area and bathroom), dining area, all three bedrooms (including the bathroom in the master bedroom), the attached two-car garage, and the side yards of the fenced-off backyard.
ISOLATION AREA:

There were ample age-appropriate toys observed, all safe and in good condition. The home was neat and clean, with adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. A fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher is mounted on the living room wall near the entrance to the kitchen. The facility has functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, which were tested and found to be operational during the inspection. A working telephone and a fully stocked first aid kit are also available.
An unused fountain is located in the patio. While rainy weather occurred during today’s inspection, the LPA reminded the licensee to drain the fountain as soon as the weather clears. A drain hole is present to allow rainwater to empty out. The licensee confirmed that the fountain will remain unused and will ensure that no water collects in the bowl. There is a fireplace, screened and locked, located in the day care area. No hazardous materials, toxins, or accessible bodies of water were observed on the premises during the inspection.
According to the licensee, there are no firearms in the home. Disaster drills were last conducted on February 4, 2026. All required licensing documents are posted and visible for public review. The licensee owns the property and carries liability insurance. Children’s files were reviewed and found to be complete and in good order. The facility roster was also reviewed, and a copy was obtained.
