Pre-licensing visit·July 9, 2021

On July 9, 2021 at approximately 1:36 PM LPA Dacanay- Breaux met with applicant Naga Jonnalagadda for Pre licensing (follow up). During today inspection is applicant fingerprint clear husband, and applicants two children. Applicant had to complete the following: (This home is not recommended for Licensure on 06/17/2021, until the following items have been obtained/corrected:) \302\267 Secure the outside climbing/slide play structure (not stable) \302\267 A fully charged 2A10BC or higher fire extinguisher \302\267 On ALL cabinets reachable to day care children install locks/latches in kitchen/bathroom for safety \302\267 Remove any and all toxic/poisonous cleaning products reachable to day care children \302\267 Install Gate in the hallway after the main bathroom \302\267 Install Gate left side (facing the yard) of the house rear of the house leading to the shed to separate rear and right side of the yard (to distinguish the off-limit areas) \302\267 Put pad lock on shed \302\267 Replace slates on the fence \302\267 Add pipe installation cushion around exposed water pipes connected to the house, remove debris near the play structure \302\267 Recommendation: cot/mats for sleeping During today's inspection all above items have been completed, in addition applicant completely removed the play structure. LPA provided a copy of Safe Sleep-in child-care brochure, a handout "What Does A Safe Sleep Environment Look Like?" and a copy of the new California Car Seat Law Changes. The licensee was also provided information regarding effects of Lead Exposure and testing requirements (Assembly Bill 2370).
