What the inspector wrote

On January 25, 2023 at approximately 02:20 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lorraine Dacanay Breaux met with licensee Naga Jonnalagadda for an ANNOUNCED CASE MANAGEMENT CAPACITY INCREASE INSPECTION . Present for this visit were four (4) children, 2 infants and 2 toddlers. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. Licensee is in ratio. Hours of operation is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The home is single story which consist of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, a two car garage (converted) and a large enclosed (fenced) backyard. On-limit-areas: kitchen area, (a walk-through area to gain access to the bathroom the day-care children will use.) Hallway bathroom is across from the off-limits bedroom. Living room and the converted garage/bonus room which has been converted into a children playroom and the main section of the rear yard. O ff-limit areas: Dining room which has be converted into an office, master bedroom with master bathroom, and the two additional bedrooms. Rear Yard that is separated by a small black fence at the left side and rear left of the home. Off limits areas will be inaccessible by gate/fence, closed and/or locked doors, and/or by adult supervision. The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. ISOLATION AREA will be the living room outside of the main day-care room (converted garage) and away from the other children in care. Per Licensee, there are no firearms and no pets in the home. The outdoor play area is the fully fenced backyard and LPA observed that it is free from defects or dangerous conditions. There are no changes to the home since the last inspection visit on 05/26/2022. A fire clearance for 14 was approved on 1/11/2023. LPA reviewed the application prior to this visit and the home has an approved fire clearance from the Livermore - Pleasanton Fire Department. There are no deficiencies cited today. Notice of Site visit was provided to the licensee to be posted for the next 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Naga Jonnalagadda. . Based on the approval of the fire clearance, issuance of license is recommended for this home effective today. L icensee is approved for the Change of Capacity as of 01/25/2023.
