On 10/24/2024 at 1:15pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Uribe conducted an unannounced Plan Of Correction Visit and met with Site Director, Anupama Malhotra. Also present at the time of today's visit are 18 children and 4 staff. On 09/16/2024 the facility was issued 3 Type B Violations during an annual health and safety inspection. The purpose of today's inspection is to ensure that the plan of corrections for each deficiency cited have been met. The violations cited were for an unsafe play structure in the outdoor play area, two emergency forms needing to be updated for two children, and sign in and out procedures needing to be implemented for when staff take TK children to and from the nearby school. LPA Uribe inspected the outdoor play space and found that the facility permanently removed the unsafe play structure and has met the plan of correction. LPA Uribe reviewed children's records and the facility has met the plan of correction by having emergency forms completed. LPA Uribe also reviewed the facility's new sign in and out system and verified that it is being used for children who are being dropped off and picked up from school by facility staff. LPA Uribe has verified that the facility has met all of the plan of corrections and all deficiencies have been cleared today. A letter of verification of deficiency clearance was provided to the site director. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
