On November 9, 2023, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Jason Jang and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Simerjit Kaur met with Director Tongxin Lie for an informal meeting at the Oakland Child Care Regional Office. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the functions of the program and issued citations. The facility did not have all employees associated to facility. The facility failed to report an incident that occurred on 9/5/23. The facility failed to seek timely medical care for a child. The facility did not follow the limitations on capacity. The facility had infant age children and preschool age children in the same room. As a plan of correction all staff were required to discuss their responsibilities and follow the Title 22 regulations. The facility director reviewed the above citations and stated that they will implement California Code of Regulations Title 22 for preschool component and infant component. The director will contact CCLD for licensing information when needed. The licensee was reminded that any future serious violation may result in a Non compliance conference.
