What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jyoti Saini and Kassandra Medrano conducted a Case Management Inspection at the facility to process a request for a decrease in licensed capacity. LPAs met with Assistant Director, Pooja Tiberwal. Later, the facility director Kruthi Rajgopal arrived during the inspection. Present during the inspection were the assistant Director, director and four staff members supervising 25 preschool age children. The center operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A fire clearance for the requested capacity of 120 children was approved on 11/7/2025,clearance from Dublin Fire Prevention. LPA conducted a health and safety inspection today for all classrooms designated for facility use. Each classroom contains one toilet and one sink, except for Room #7, which contains two sinks. In addition to the classroom, students will also use the restrooms in the front of the building. Which include two separate restroom areas. The boys\342\200\231 restroom contains one toilet, two urinals, and two sinks. The girls\342\200\231 restroom contains three stalls and two sinks; however, one of the three stalls is designated exclusively for employee use. Measurements were previously taken by LPA Otsuji on 7/28/2020: \302\267 Indoor space: 4,034.88 sq. ft. \302\267 Outdoor space: 11,640.12 sq. ft. \302\267 Total sinks available for children: 10 \302\267 Total toilets available for children: 8 (plus 2 urinals) Although fire clearance has been approved for 120 children , based on the available indoor space measurements and licensing regulations, the facility does not meet the minimum square footage requirement to accommodate 120 children. Therefore, the request change in the capacity cannot be approved at this time. Report continued on page 2... Rooms 1, 2, the MPR, and Room 8 are assigned exclusively to the Heritage program. The facility discussed the use of the MPR for preschool children for parent supervised events. The facility was advised that Heritage program children must not be commingled with preschool program children at any time. The facility has an approved waiver in place for the shared yard used by both the Heritage and preschool programs. The facility was advised to post the waiver for public display and to adhere to all requirements listed in the waiver. Exit interview was conducted with Director, Kruthi Rajgopal and advised them that license for 115 children in classrooms 3-7 will be recommended for approval once the following documents are received: 1. New LIC200a sent with wet signature with modified capacity request. 2. An updated fire clearance for a capacity of 115 children
