What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini conducted a Case Management Inspection to review the facility’s request to increase its preschool capacity from 20 to 30 children with no change to the toddler capacity. LPA met with Director Carol Abe, and the purpose of the inspection was explained. Present during the visit were the Director and two staff members supervising 15 children (10 preschoolers and 5 toddlers). The facility is currently licensed to operate in Room G (Little Explorers), Room F (Little Learners), and Room H. The facility has an approved fire clearance from Dublin Fire Prevention. The total indoor area for the preschool classrooms is 1,059.315 square feet. This square footage allows for a maximum capacity of 30 preschool children. The facility has a total of 7 sinks, 5 toilets, and 1 urinal. Rooms G and F have adjacent bathrooms, and additional children’s bathrooms are located in the hallway near the kitchen area. All bathroom doors are clearly labeled for children’s use only. The facility is recommended to be licensed for 48 children (30 preschoolers and 18 toddlers) effective 05/20/2026. A notice of cite visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted, and report was reviewed with director, Carol Abe.
