Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Director of Program Development/Licensee, Margarita Saucedo, and Lorna Knight, Senior Regional Director, for the purpose of a case management inspection. Applicant request a decrease in capacity for the Preschool Component for 24 children from 2 years old to entry into first grade. The fire clearance was granted and received. The facility currently operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. LPA informed Applicant that the facility will be converted to a single child care center license under one facility number 015700623. Therefore, LPA will close the preschool license facility number, 013421406. INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: Modular 132 is for the Toddler Component which is 829.66 square feet and will accommodate the Licensee's request for 16 children. Modular 131, Preschool Component classroom, was measured on August 30, 2022 which will accommodate Licensee\342\200\231s request for 24 preschool children. There is one toilet and one sink in the Toddler Classroom. There are two toilets and two sinks for the Preschool component. Care and Supervision will be provided for Toddlers when using the bathroom in the Preschool classroom. The isolation toilet will be one toilet in the Preschool classroom and isolation area will be an area near the Toddler bathroom. Please See LIC 809 C for Additional Information OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: There is one preschool outdoor area on the property (Playground A). LPA used current measurements from report dated August 30, 2022, therefore did not take measurements. Both Toddler playgrounds was measured and contains a total of 2,092.20 square feet which will accommodate Licensee\342\200\231s request for 16 Toddlers. Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Margarita Saucedo . The following items are required before a license will be issued: 1. Need a director until the original director returns in January 2025. 2. Received and reviewed the updated Employee's Handbook. 3. Fire Clearance will need to be updated to reflect 16 Toddlers. 4. Applicant will need to update Infant Needs and Service Plan 5. Applicant will need to update Admission Agreement. 6. Received and will review the updated Parent's Handbook. 7. Please send pictures of outside equipment located on the playground.
