Pre-licensing visit·July 5, 2024

On Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:36 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Ramandeep Kaur, Applicant and Marchelle McEvoy, Center Director for an announced prelicensing inspection. There are 15 children with 3 staff members including the director. The applicant requests an Infant Component to serve 12 children ages birth to two years of age and an increase for the Preschool Component for 51 children from 2 years of age to kindergarten. A health and safety inspection in all areas accessible to children was conducted. The program will operate Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM which includes extended care. Classroom measurements: LPA measured three (3) classrooms for the Preschool Component and one (1) classroom for the Infant Component . The indoor total measurements for Preschool Component contain a total of 1801.42 square feet which will accommodate Applicant's request for 51 Preschool children. The indoor total measurements for the Infant Component contains a total of 615.09 square feet which will accommodate Applicant\342\200\231s request for 12 Infant children. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024). The total outdoor measurements for the Infant Component outdoor play yard is 489. 7 square feet, which will not accommodate Applicant's request for 12 Infant children. The total outdoor measurements for the Preschool is 2,187.09 square feet, which will not accommodate Applicant's request for 51 Preschool children. The following items will need to be completed before being licensed: 1. Applicant will need to purchase additional barricade for the Infant classroom. 2. Fire Clearance approval 3. Waivers for Infant and Preschool outdoor play yards. 4. LPM 1 final review.
