Pre-licensing visit·November 17, 2025

On Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:22 AM, Licensing Program Analyst, (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Applicant Harjit Kaur, for a Change of Ownership application. The applicant requests 12 Toddler children from 18 months - 30 months and 60 preschool children from 2 years of age to 6 years of age. A health and safety inspection in all areas accessible to children was conducted. There are 19 children present with 6 staff members including the director. All components will operate on Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The purpose for this inspection is to remeasure all the classrooms for both components due to the Applicant's request. Classroom measurements: LPA measured 1 classroom for the Toddler Component. The Toddler Component measurements are 418.42 square foot which will not accommodate Applicant's request for 12 Toddler children. LPA measured 3 classrooms for the Preschool Component. The total indoor measurements for the Preschool Component is 2208.60 square feet which will accommodate Applicant's request for 60 Preschool children. There are a total of five (5) toilets, and five (5) sinks for the children. Director's Office will be the isolation area. The isolation bathroom is located in Classroom 4. There are two staff bathrooms. The first staff bathroom is located in the director's office which will be designated for only Toddlers. There is a changing table with one sink within arm's reach in this bathroom. Please See LIC 809 C for Additional Information Outdoor Activity Space: The outdoor play area is fenced by the building walls and walls are at least 4ft tall. There is enough age-appropriate equipment and toys. The play area has cushioning material underneath all outdoor climbing equipment. The entire play area has shade and play equipment is specifically designated for 2 - 6 year old children. There are no bodies of water on the premises. Climbing structures and slides are safe and in good condition. Playground is free of debris and other hazards. Children have access to drinking water and will use water cups. Furthermore, the outdoor space for the Preschool outdoor play area is 2,483.02 square feet and will not accommodate the Applicant request for 60 children.
