What the inspector wrote

On Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:14 AM, Centralized Application Bureau Licensing Program Analyst, CAB LPA Caroline Colson met with Bertha Byran, Senior Director of Parent Relations and Kiara Parras, Center Director to add a Toddler Component for 48 children from ages 18 months - 36 months and a change in capacity for the Infant Component to 40 children from 6 weeks to 24 months and 95 preschool children from 2 years of age to first grade entry. The purpose of this inspection is to remeasure the Infant Component because a napping area was created. The are only 12 cribs available. A health and safety inspection in all areas accessible to children was conducted. The entire facility will operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The fire clearance was updated. The original request for the Preschool Component is 95 children. The total indoor measurements for the Preschool children is 2,858.52 square feet and will accommodate Applicant's request for 95 children. The Toddler Component capacity is still 1578.65 square feet and will not accommodate Applicant's request for 48 Toddler children. The new measurements for the Infant Component is 996.6 with a napping area for only 12 cribs and will not accommodate Applicant's request for 40 children. Please See LIC 809 C for Additional Information The following items were corrected during the inspection: 1. Applicant provided shade for the Infant and Preschool outdoor spaces. 2. Applicant submitted a waiver and updated schedule. 3. Applicant will ensure all staff have complete records. 4. Applicant created a barrier for the napping area. 5. Applicant purchased scissors, tweezers and ensure thermometers are in each First Aid Kits. 7. Applicant increased the water pressure for classroom C115. 8. Applicant ensure all electrical outlets are covered in C111. 9. Applicant has appropriate changing tables. 10. Applicant updated the Licensing Board. The facility will need to complete the items listed below in order to obtain a license: 1. Applicant will need to provide an updated parent handbook, and employee handbook. Once we receive the above items, the facility can be licensed as a Single License facility.
