Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Director Gabriela Arrizon for an unannounced Annual Random Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility. In addition to the director and 20 staff members, there are 120 children present (11 toddlers, 82 preschoolers, and 27 school-age children). The facility has a toddler component exclusively run in Rooms 1A and 1B, preschool classrooms in Rooms 2 through 5, and the school-age program in Rooms 6A and 6B. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The facility was inspected indoors and outdoors for health and safety hazards, and the following was observed: The facility has functioning carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors/fire alarms, and fully charged 2A-10-BC fire extinguishers accessible throughout the site. During the inspection, LPA did not observe any bodies of water. The director confirmed that there are no firearms or weapons on the premises. All furniture is in good repair, and each classroom contains age-appropriate toys and equipment. A first aid kit and a first aid backpack are available. The medications are stored in designated backpacks and secured high on the wall, ensuring they remain inaccessible to children. The program provides daily snacks, and children bring their own lunches. The monthly snack menu is posted. Food storage was reviewed, and all food was observed in its original packaging with expiration dates labeled. Children bring their own water bottles, which staff refill using water fountains as needed. Each child has a separate labeled cubby for personal belongings, as well as individual blankets and sheets. Per the director, parents launder blankets and sheets weekly. The play structure is age-appropriate and in good condition, and toddlers have a separate playground. There is rubber cushioning underneath the play structure to absorb a fall. Classrooms have all required postings. According to the fire drill log, the last emergency drill was conducted on 12/09/2025 and is properly documented. The facility utilizes the LILIO app for sign-in and sign-out, and teachers also maintain manual sign-in/out sheets in each classroom.
