What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst Sidney Cortez, met with licensee Ameera Bawazir and Feras Ghnimat for Relocation and Increase of Capacity Inspection. Present for this visit was the licensee Ameera Bawazir, 0 children present. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. The facility currently operates from 08:00AM until 6:00 PM, Monday-Saturday. Fire Clearance was obtained on April 17, 2024 granted by Hayward Fire Department On-limit-areas are the: living room, family room, dining room, Child care room, hallway bathroom, one bedroom, and backyard. Off-limit-areas are the: Master bedroom, 2nd bedroom (son\342\200\231s room), kitchen and garage. This home is a single-story, which is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The off-limits are will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The backyard area is fully fenced with a shed on the left side which is locked to prevent children access. The Isolation area will be the living room--away from other children in care. There are ample age appropriate toys that are safe and appear to be clean. All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children. The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, working telephone. Health and Safety training is completed and CPR and First Aid certificates is current and will expire this Nov 27, 2024 . The licensee is in compliance with new immunization laws which pertain to day care providers. The licensee's mandated reporter training is current and expires ( May 2026 ). The licensee conducts and documents fire and disaster drills twice a year with the last one conducted on April 2, 2024 . 2 Children files were reviewed, facility roster reviewed and copy obtained. The licensee is in ratio today. All REQUIRED forms are posted and visible for public review
