What the inspector wrote

On 3/9/22, A Case Management visit was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst, Wisehart who met with licensee, Carson Pezzetti to discuss communication and reporting requirements; cleaning protocols; and personal rights concerns. The LPA also reviewed best policy and practices involving child pick up; staff conduct and record keeping. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's visit. The following violation(s) of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22; Division 12, were observed: see LIC 809D. Appeal Rights were provided.

    Personal Rights 101223(a)(2) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights. To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidence by LPA Wisehart’s observation and interviews S1 was present at work on 1/21/22 while ill and witness interviews support staff do not consistently wear masks.This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

    Buildings and Grounds 101238The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. This requirement was not met asevidenced by: Based on interviews that children are constantly sick and S1 acknowledged that staffdon’t routinely clean the toys. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
