What the inspector wrote

This is an amended report from 5/20/22. On 5/20/22 at 9:00 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carrie Wisehart conducted a case management visit and met with the Director, Tiffani Yeager. The purpose of the case management inspection was to discuss staff (S1) interactions with infants as observed while reviewing video footage of the infant room for an unrelated incident. The LPA reviewed recorded video footage of the facility from 3/28 & 3/29 and observed S1 handled infants in a rough manner when compared to other staff caring for infants. LPA Wisehart was able to determine that the interactions between S1 and the infants in care were too rough considering the age and size of the infants. This presents and immediate risk to children in care Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's visit. The following violation(s) of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22; Division 12, were observed: see LIC 809D. Appeal Rights were provided. Reports citing Type A violations are to be provided to parents/guardians of children currently in enrolled and to parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months. Parents/guardians must sign Form LIC9224 to be kept in each child's file.
