Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

A case management inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Emilia Grisak in response to a capacity increase application received by CCL on 06/03/22. The facility was toured inside and outside, and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. The Licensee has requested to increase capacity to 18 toddlers and 27 preschool age children for a total capacity of 45 children. The fire clearance was approved for 45 children and received by CCL on 10/29/19. The indoor space consists of a toddler classroom which measured for 13 children, a preschool classroom which measured for 14 children, a sensory area which is utilized by both toddlers and preschoolers on a rotational basis and measured for 10 children, a large indoor play area that is u tilized by both toddlers and preschoolers on a rotational basis and measured for 78 children. The outdoor play area measured for 37 children and the licensee will request a waiver to use outdoor play space on a rotational basis for both preschoolers and toddlers as well as utilize the large indoor play area for gross motor play. There is a toilet and utility sink that is designated for staff use and ill children being isolated. There are also three toilets and three sinks available for children. Based on the space/accommodations available at this facility and the fire marshal granting their approval for the 45 children, the capacity increase request is granted once the waiver is received and approved for shared outdoor space. An exit interview was conducted with licensees. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's visit.
