Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

The infant in question did have a busted lip which was documented on the Seer App. Documents showing the communicated injury was provided to Community Care Licensing 5/17/24. LPA interviewed 10 parents (P1-P10) on 6/25/24, 7/15/24 and 7/18/24. 8 parents (P1-P8) stated they were informed of injuries through the Seer App. Parents indicated they received consistent communication from staff in addition to App updates. Parents (P1-P8) felt any injuries that were substantial were communicated in a timely manner by phone or text if follow up medical care was needed. Two parents (P9-P10) indicated there had been an injury that was not effectively communicated in person but was eventually communicated through the App. Documentation of injuries were provided and corroborated that parents were notified of injuries through the Seer App. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. During today’s inspection, the facility was toured, 3 infants were in care and no title 22 violations were observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Christina Wieck . Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
