What the inspector wrote

On 7/30/25 @ 11:29am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erica Laird conducted an unannounced case management inspection. On 7/30/25 @ approximately 10:04am, during another inspection at the facility, LPA Laird counted 20 school age children. LPA Laird spoke to four staff who confirmed there were 20 school age children onsite. On 7/30/25 @ 11:38am LPA Laird conducted an interview with Ashlie Lagrone. Ashlie stated she has a combination license for preschool and school age with a total capacity of 41. Ashlie stated she misunderstood the requirement that school age not exceed 12 children, which is the capacity for the school age license. During today's inspection LPA Laird conducted interviews with four staff. All staff interviewed stated there are usually more than 12 school age children in attendance. Based on observations and interviews, the following deficiency(ies) is being cited on the LIC809-D. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Ashlie Lagrone. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
