What the inspector wrote

On 1/28/26 @ 8:18am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erica Laird conducted an announced case management inspection. LPA Laird met with director Kathleen Corbett to inspect classroom #113 which will be used as a sensory gym. The facility is not increasing capacity. At 8:20am LPA Laird inspected classroom #113. The sensory gym is equipped with various sensory activities, tumble mats and climbing structures. Climbing structures were cushioned with large tumbling mats. (photos taken) LPA Laird discussed the importance of ensuring all toys and equipment used in the sensory gym are age appropriate and utilized per manufacturing guidelines. LPA also informed director of the importance of checking for and removing any recalled devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. A fire clearance was conducted and granted on 1/21/26. Based on inspection and fire clearance, LPA Laird determined classroom #113 meets Title 22 regulations and is approved for use. There were no deficiencies cited during today's inspection. This report was reviewed and a copy was provided to director Kathleen Corbett. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
