What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Deborah Khashe and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Bettina Engelman met with Sarah Kelly for the purpose of a Proof-of-Corrections Inspection. LPA and LPM toured the facility and reviewed records. There were 29 children present supervised by 6 staff. On 7/10/2025, the facility was cited Type A deficiencies for Teacher Qualifications, operating over the licensed capacity, cleaning agents accessible to day care children and unsafe food preparation. A Type B deficiency for not posting a menu was also cited on 7/10/2025. Today, LPA observed staff files. LPA reviewed children\342\200\231s records and observed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9227) signed by parents in children\342\200\231s files. Today, Licensing Staff did not observe unsafe food preparation or accessible cleaning agents. A current menu was posted today and the capacity limits were maintained. The deficiencies cited on 7/10/2025 are cleared with today\342\200\231s visit. A Proof of Correction Letter was provided. In the areas that were evaluated today, no deficiencies were observed. An exit interview was conducted, and Notice of Site Visit was posted by LPA and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
