Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 7/1/2025 at 9:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle conducted a case management inspection due to the center's lead testing results. LPA met with Director Stephanie Montague. There were forty-seven (47) children and nine (9) additional staff members present during LPA's visit. The department was notified that one (1) water outlet tested on 3/1/2025 located in Kittens room had elevated lead levels that had exceeded 5.5 ppb. This exceeded the Action Level Exceedance (ALE) established by the state for lead exposure. The outlet was immediately closed off and replaced. It is now only used to wash paints. The faucet is also in the retesting process and will be retested on 7/26/2025. See LIC809D for Type B deficiency cited during today's inspection. Exit interview conducted with Director Stephanie Montague. A notice of site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days.
