Facility-requested visit·March 12, 2026

On 3/12/2026 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Dana Santiago and Jamel Maiwandi met with Director Jeni Smith for a Licensee Initiated - Case Management inspection for a capacity decrease to the preschool license. The facility is requesting to decrease of fifteen (15) preschool aged children from previous capacity of sixty (60) and removal of a preschool classroom. LPAs toured the facility for a Health and Safety check. INDOORS: 1,436.84 square feet = approved for 41 children OUTDOORS: 4,522.90 square feet = approved for 60 children Contra Costa County Fire Protection District approved a fire clearance on 02/17/2026 and Community Care Licensing received the fire clearance on 2/18/2026. The center was observed to be neat and clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. The center has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher. The center has a working smoke detector the classroom, and a working carbon monoxide detector in each classroom. The facility has a pull down fire alarm system connected directly to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. The center has drinking water readily available for children. The outdoor space has ample shade. The indoor measurement for preschool aged children cannot accommodate the request for 45 preschool children. Per current measurements, the maximum capacity can only accommodate 41 preschool children at one time. As of today, 03/12/2026, the center is approved for a preschool component with capacity of 41. Exit Interview conducted. Report reviewed with Director Jeni Smith and a copy provided. A notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
