What the inspector wrote

On 04/10/2025 at 9:45AM Licensing Program Analysts (LPA's) Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes and Dana Santiago conducted an Unannounced Visit in regards to two self reported incidents. LPAs met with Site Supervisor Marilyn Doss. During the visit LPAs conducted interviews, toured the facility, and reviewed documents. Facility reported that a staff member served a child a snack (pears) that the child has an allergy to. The Site Supervisor stated that there were no injuries reported and the child has returned to the facility. The facility followed regulations in regards to contacting parent when child consumed a food item that the child was allergic to as well as informing licensing about incident within 24 hours of incident. Staff was also in the room and immediately removed the food from the child's possession. Also, Site Supervisor informed LPA's that the facility conducted an Health and Safety refresher for all the staff in the facility on 04/09/2025 and has provided LPA's with the agenda and sign in sheet. During today's inspection, no deficiencies have been cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Site Supervisor, Marilyn Doss. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
