What the inspector wrote

On 11/21/2024 at 12:35 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Christina Watts and Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Kindercare Learning Center. LPA met with Director, Jamari Fredenburg and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. During today's inspection, there were 28 preschool children in care with 5 staff in 3 classrooms. Director stated there are 42 preschool children enrolled. Complainant alleges that Staff handled daycare children in a rough manner. During the course of the investigation, LPAs completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. LPAs cannot determine at this time whether staff may or may not be handling daycare children in a rough manner. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with Director, Jamari Fredenburg. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
