What the inspector wrote

On 02/26/2026 at 4:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit at Kindercare Learning Center. LPA met with Assistant Director, Pamela Souza and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's inspection, there were 24 preschool children in care with 4 staff in 2 classrooms. Director stated there are 35 preschool children enrolled. LPA's are following up on 1 Type A citation for a personal rights violation that the facility was cited for on 02/20/2026. Licensee submitted the plan of correction on 02/23/2026 via email. During today's inspection, LPA's reviewed children's file to verify facility has provided parents the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224) form to sign. LPA's observed the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report in the children's file. LPAs also reminded licensee to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 02/20/2026 that documents a Type A citation(s) to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of cited report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. Clearance Letter was provided to Assistant Director during today's inspection. During today's inspection, there were no violations observed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Assistant Director, Pamela Souza. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
